1. How far in advance should we book our pre-wedding shoot?
We recommend booking your pre-wedding shoot 6 to 12 months before your wedding. Ideally, the shoot should occur at least 3 months before the wedding, giving you ample time to prepare and be in your best shape for the shoot.

2. How do we book your services for a pre-wedding shoot?
To secure a booking for your pre-wedding shoot, a RM1,000 non-refundable deposit is needed. Please make sure to read and agree to our Terms & Conditions before submitting your deposit.

3. Can I remove the items that I don’t need from your package?
Yes, we offer rebates for selected services or items you decide not to use in your package.

4. Is there a specific selection of gowns, or can I choose any from your studio?
You are free to select any gown from the range available in our studio.

5. Is there a restriction on choosing only indoor or outdoor themes?
No, there are no restrictions. You are free to choose from any of the indoor or outdoor themes according to your preference.

6. Can I choose the song for the photo music montage?
Yes, you can select your preferred song for the montage. Please provide the song in MP3 format for us to use.

7. Is there a travel fee for weddings outside of Penang island?
Yes, there is. We offer services in various states and internationally. Additional travel expenses will apply for locations not covered by our standard packages.

8. What preparations do I need before the pre-wedding shoot?

9. How does the ‘Shooting theme’ work?
We organize shoots by theme rather than by the hour. Typically, one theme equals one location. Some couples choose two themes at the same location, and we will change their outfits, makeup, and hairstyles.

10. Do we need permits for shooting at specific locations?
Certain places might require photography permits. Our team is familiar with locations in Penang and can provide the necessary advice and support.

11. How do you plan our itinerary?
Based on your chosen theme, our team will customize a rough itinerary tailored to your needs.

12. What if we’re not confident to pose for the camera?
Don’t worry if you’re not familiar with posing. Our photographer will guide you how to pose and make you feel comfortable. The goal is to capture your natural interactions and love for each other.

13. Can we request specific shots or poses for our shoot?
Absolutely, we appreciate if you can provide a list of preferred shots or poses. We will do our best to accommodate your requests within the framework of our photography style.

14. What’s the backup plan for bad weather?
We recommend starting early in the morning to make use of natural light and have greater flexibility if the weather worsens.

15. What is the best time for a pre wedding shoot?
The best time to shoot depends on your preferred location and the appearance you want for your photos.

16. What casual attire should we wear for our pre wedding shoot?

17. Will you provide props for our pre wedding shoot?
Yes, our team will prepare a dry flowers bouquet and a veil for the pre wedding shoot. We also offer other props that are appropriate for various themes.

18. Can we bring our own props to the pre-wedding shoot?
Definitely! Personal props like balloons, signs, vintage cars, or items significant to your relationship can add a unique touch. Discuss your ideas with our photographer beforehand.

19. Can we incorporate our hobbies or pets into the shoot?
Yes, personalizing your shoot with hobbies or pets can make the photos more meaningful and unique. Just ensure our photographer is aware and prepared for any special requirements.

20. What if I need to postpone to another day?
You can postpone the shoot before the makeup process begins. Once makeup is applied, the shoot proceeds as planned. Postponing after makeup application incurs a surcharge.

 

Makeup & Hairdo

 

21. Can I select my own makeup artist?
For pre-wedding shoots, we have a selected team of freelance makeup artists with whom we collaborate closely to ensure consistency and quality that aligns with our style. As such, clients are not able to choose their own makeup artists. However, you can view the portfolio of our trusted artists on our profile to get an idea of their work and style.

22. Will the makeup and hairdo cover everything needed?
Yes, we include everything needed for the makeup and hairdo, such as ampoules, eyelashes, and body foundation. Hair accessories are also provided.

23. Is makeup and hairdo included for the groom?
Yes, we provide a simple touch-up and hairstyle for the groom as well.

24. What type of makeup and hairstyle should we choose?
Select makeup and hairstyles that suit your personal style and the location of the shoot. We recommend researching and sharing your favorite looks with our makeup artist, who will provide tailored advice.

25. Will you change my makeup and hairstyle for each theme?
Yes, for each new outfit and theme, our makeup artist will touch up your makeup and change your hairstyle according to the theme.

 

Photos, Album & Prints

 

26. Do you allow re-editing of photos?
Yes, we offer a one-time re-edit service. Feel free to list all your requests, and we will do our best to meet your requirements.

27. Can we have the RAW photos?
We do not provide RAW files. However, if the package includes all soft copies returned, JPEG photos with basic editing will be provided.

28. What is the turnaround time for receiving the albums and prints?
The expected turnaround time is at least 3 months from the date of the shoot. Depending on how quickly you choose and finalize the photos for printing. This timeframe is based on receiving your selections within a week.

29. Is there a limit to the number of photos we will receive?
No, there is no limit. You will receive all soft copy photos taken during the shoot. The number mentioned in the package serves as a guideline.

30. Are there any hidden costs?
Our pricing is fixed and transparent. Any potential costs have been listed in the package details provided to you, ensuring there are no hidden fees.

 

Other States / Overseas Couples

 

31. If I’m from overseas or another state, can I settle everything in one trip?
Yes, indeed. Over 60% of our clients come from overseas or different states and manage to complete all arrangements in a single visit to Penang. We recommend visiting our studio for gown fitting one or two days prior to your shoot. On the day of the gown fitting session, our photographer will meet with you to discuss all the details.

32. What is next after the shoot?
All remaining processes can be done online. Our team will send you the soft copies online and guide you in choosing your photos.

Once editing is complete, we’ll share the edited photos and the album layout with you for final approval before printing.

After everything is finalized, we’ll courier the album and prints directly to you. Please note that the courier fee is not included and may vary depending on your location.

33. Can we have our photo shoot at the hotel where we are staying?
Absolutely. Hotels typically require a minimum of one night’s reservation if you want to use their premises for a photo shoot. This could be a great chance to choose a gorgeous hotel that complements the aesthetics of your photos.
